The Tacoma Narrows Bridge connects Gig Harbor and points north (and on the west side of the Sound) to Tacoma. It is really two bridges three lanes each that enable the 1000s of commuters a day to cross the peninsula. It can get gusty up there but it is normally a quick ride into the city!
